February 22, 2021 9:22 PM CST - Paul Minnesota Timberwolves President of Basketball Operations Gersson Rosas today announced he has named Chris Finch as the team's new Head Coach. Regarded as one of the brightest offensive minds in the game, Finch has over 20 years of NBA coaching experience.
Finch takes over for Ryan Saunders, who was fired earlier this season. The Timberwolves are currently 11-14, 10th in the Western Conference.
In his first full season as head coach, Finch led the Timberwolves to a 23-49 record. He was named the NBA's Coach of the Year for the 2022-23 season.
