Candidates to Face Questions on Key Issues Facing the Country

WEB ITV has confirmed that its General Election multi-party debate will take place on Thursday, June 13, at 8:30 pm.

The debate will feature the Conservative leadership candidates as the party prepares to elect a new leader to succeed Boris Johnson. Julie Etchingham will host the debate between the five candidates: Kemi Badenoch, Penny Mordaunt, Rishi Sunak, Liz Truss, and Tom Tugendhat.

The candidates will take questions from Etchingham on issues facing the country, including the NHS, the cost of living crisis, immigration, and the conflict in Gaza.

The debate is expected to be a major event in the race for the Conservative leadership. The candidates will have the opportunity to set out their plans for the country and to debate each other's policies. The debate is also likely to provide viewers with a better understanding of the candidates and their views on the key issues facing the country.

The debate will be broadcast live on ITV and will also be available to watch online. It is expected to be one of the most-watched political events of the year.
