Everything new in iOS 18

Apple has released the first public beta of iOS 18, its next major operating system update for the iPhone.

Here's everything new in iOS 18:

New home screen features

• New widgets: iOS 18 introduces a new set of widgets that can be added to the home screen, including widgets for weather, calendar, and activity.
• App Stacks: App Stacks allow you to group multiple apps together into a single stack, making it easier to organize your home screen.
• Focus mode: Focus mode allows you to set up different profiles for different activities, such as work, personal, or sleep. When you're in a particular focus mode, only the apps and notifications that are relevant to that mode will be allowed to interrupt you.

Messages app improvements

• Undo send: iOS 18 allows you to undo sending a message for up to 15 minutes after it has been sent.
• Scheduled send: iOS 18 allows you to schedule messages to be sent at a later time.
• Edit message: iOS 18 allows you to edit messages that you have already sent.

Other new features

• CarPlay: CarPlay has been redesigned in iOS 18 with a new interface and new features, such as the ability to use widgets and apps.
• Wallet: Wallet has been updated in iOS 18 with support for new types of cards, such as ID cards and driver's licenses.
• Safari: Safari has been updated in iOS 18 with new features, such as the ability to group tabs and translate web pages.
• Live Text: Live Text has been updated in iOS 18 with the ability to recognize text in videos.
