Netherlands team unveils 2023 roster

Experienced squad named for upcoming European Championship qualifiers

Roster includes several key players from last year's World Cup run

The Netherlands has named its roster for the upcoming European Championship qualifiers, with several key players from last year's World Cup run making the cut. The squad includes goalkeeper Sari van Veenendaal, defender Aniek Nouwen, and forwards Vivianne Miedema and Lieke Martens.

The Netherlands will face Iceland and Switzerland in the qualifiers, with the top two teams in each group advancing to the final tournament. The Dutch are the defending champions, having won the tournament in 2017.

Head coach Mark Parsons has named a strong squad with a good mix of experience and youth. The team will be looking to build on its success at last year's World Cup, where it reached the semifinals before losing to Sweden.

The Netherlands will open its qualifying campaign on April 11 against Iceland in Reykjavik. The team will then host Switzerland on April 14 in Utrecht.
