Tamayo Perry, Surfer, Lifeguard, and Actor, Dies in Shark Attack
Victim Known for Roles in "Blue Crush" and "Pirates of the Caribbean"
WEB Tamayo Perry, 49, a well-known surfer, lifeguard, and actor, has died after being attacked by a shark while surfing in Hawaii on Sunday afternoon. Perry was an eight-year veteran of Honolulu Ocean Safety and a respected waterman on the North Shore of Oahu.
Perry's Acting Career
In addition to his water-related pursuits, Perry also had a successful acting career. He appeared in several films, including "Blue Crush" (2002), "Hawaii Five-0" (2010), and "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" (2011). He also performed stunts for the 2004 film "The Big Bounce."
