Natalie Portman and Moses Ingram are set to star in Apple TV+'s upcoming neo-noir miniseries, "Lady in the Lake." The seven-part series, which is based on the novel of the same name by Laura Lippman, is set to premiere on July 19th.
Portman plays Maddie Schwartz, a housewife who becomes obsessed with the case of a missing woman in 1960s Baltimore. Ingram plays Cleo Sherwood, a young black woman who is determined to find her missing sister.
The series is directed by Lucile Hadzihalilovic and written by Dre Ryan. The cast also includes Y'lan Noel, Brett Gelman, and Mikey Madison.
