FEMA has announced that financial assistance is available to help cover the costs of vehicle repairs for those impacted by Hurricane Debby.
The assistance is available to homeowners and renters who have had their vehicles damaged or destroyed by the hurricane.
To qualify for assistance, applicants must meet certain eligibility requirements, including:
- Being a U.S. citizen, national, or qualified alien
- Having sustained damage or loss in a presidentially declared disaster area
- Occupying the damaged or destroyed home as their primary residence at the time of the disaster
Applicants can apply for assistance online at DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling FEMA at 1-800-621-3362.
The deadline to apply for assistance is October 28, 2023.
